Job summary

CDC Data Centres is seeking an Associate Service Technician (24/7) to support customers, service technicians and contractors, monitor critical infrastructure, and ensure data centre uptime. The role offers learning and development opportunities within CDC’s career pathways initiative.

Ideal candidates have experience in technical environments and strong communication skills, with Australian citizenship and eligibility for security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical environments such as telecommunications, fibre, fire systems, trades, IT, industrial facilities or related fields.
• Ability to identify risks and develop practical, effective solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and engage with Customers, Service Technicians and contractors undertaking support activities and overseeing maintenance works.
• Monitor critical infrastructure to ensure continuity of services and no disruption to client’s or business operations.
• Respond to customer requests and critical events swiftly.
• Provide timely reporting of events and support restoration to normal operations.
