Job summary

Webuild S.p.A. is seeking an experienced Lead Electromechanical Engineer/Construction Manager to oversee electromechanical installations on the Snowy 2.0 pumped hydro project in NSW.

You will coordinate civil, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic trades to maintain the construction programme and meet milestones. You will drive safety, quality and progress reporting, resolve scheduling and resource issues, and provide regular updates to project leadership.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or related field.
• At least 10 years' experience in construction operations of similar scale.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and documentation.
• Excellent coordination, leadership, and communication skills; White Card.
• Strong knowledge of hydropower construction phases and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper sequencing of works to avoid clashes and delays.
• Manage subcontractors and trades to ensure seamless workflow.
• Review construction methods and ensure conformance to standards.
• Facilitate daily briefings and coordination meetings.
• Inspect installations for quality and safety; report progress to stakeholders.
• Document progress and maintain accurate site records.
