Job summary

Future Generation Joint Venture is seeking a senior construction leader to drive electromechanical installations on Snowy 2.0. You will coordinate civil, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic trades, monitor construction programs, and ensure delivery within time, cost, quality, safety, and environmental constraints.

The role requires extensive site leadership, strong problem-solving, and clear communication with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Tertiary Qualifications in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven work experience in construction management or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of construction procedures, material and project management principles.
• Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings and technical documentation.
• Excellent coordination, leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper sequencing of works to avoid clashes and delays on critical areas (powerhouse, penstock, intake).
• Manage and schedule subcontractors and trades to ensure seamless workflow.
• Review construction methods and facilitate daily coordination meetings.
• Inspect completed installations and ensure conformance to design, specifications and safety standards.
• Oversee project production to ensure on-time completion within budget.
