Job summary

Future Generation Joint Venture, located in the Snowy Mountains of NSW, leads electromechanical installations on a major hydro project. The role requires coordinating civil, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic trades, and monitoring construction programmes to meet milestones with a focus on safety and quality.

Ideal candidates will have a tertiary engineering degree, 10+ years in large-scale construction, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, including reading

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in mechanical/civil engineering or related field.
• Proven work experience in construction management or similar roles.
• Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead electromechanical installations on a large hydropower project coordinating civil, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic trades.
• Monitor and maintain construction programme to meet milestones and quality standards.
• Provide regular reports and corrective actions to recover schedule delays.
• Ensure safe, cost-effective delivery within time, cost, quality and environmental constraints.
• Coordinate with site managers and subcontractors to maintain progress and safety.
