Job summary

WeBuild, in collaboration with Clough and Lane, is delivering Snowy 2.0 in NSW, Australia, and seeks a Senior Project Engineer – Mechanical to lead end-to-end delivery of mechanical systems including potable water, water purification, fire fighting, HVAC and lifts.

The role oversees shop drawing reviews, testing, commissioning and handover while coordinating with multiple teams on a major infrastructure project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Significant experience delivering mechanical systems on major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of potable water, firefighting, HVAC/ventilation and lift systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the review and coordination of mechanical shop drawings, technical submissions and design clarifications.
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, project requirements and supplier specifications.
• Coordinate interfaces with electrical, controls/BMS, fire, civil, structural and BIM teams.
• Identify and resolve design gaps and constructability issues before installation.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams during construction.
