Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation in Melbourne is seeking a Service Repair Business Development Manager to boost sales and market share. This role focuses on acquiring and converting new customers, retaining existing ones, and identifying opportunities for OEM and general HVAC projects to help customers achieve their objectives.

You will provide solutions to end customers, offer regional support to local business units, share market strategies, product offerings, and technical assistance.

Qualifications

• HVAC Trade Qualification(s) and minimum 5–10 years HVAC industry experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in aftermarket parts/repair sales, with a track record of success.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills for building relationships.
• Ability to cross-sell and upsell within your base of customers.
• Proven ability to identify opportunities for proactive selling of preventative repair/upgrade packages.
• Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft-based software in a technical environment.
• Comfortable working in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated with excellent multitasking skills and time management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to expand customer base and service offerings.
• Collaborate with local operations teams to qualify leads and develop opportunities.
• Build professional relationships with new and existing customers and key industry stakeholders.
• Provide end customers with solution sales, including SR packages and system upgrades.
• Collaborate with regional service teams and other departments to identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across all verticals.
• Assist in developing marketing plans for new and existing products.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective customers for growth objectives.
• Support strategic plans to achieve new business targets as directed.
• Prepare regular reports and analyses of new business development, opportunities, and targets.
