Job summary

Western Sydney University is seeking a Senior HR Operations Officer at Hawkesbury campus with flexible working arrangements. The role delivers high-level HR services across the employee lifecycle, handling complex transactions and safeguarding employee data across systems.

You will provide guidance on onboarding, payroll, leave management, WHS, casual employment, staff benefits and superannuation, acting as escalation for non-standard or sensitive matters while coaching others to ensure

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in HR, Business or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience in HR operations including complex transaction processing.
• Advanced knowledge of employment legislation and enterprise agreements.
• Experience leading process improvements and embedding QA practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-level operational HR services across the employee lifecycle.
• Oversee complex transactions and ensure compliance with legislation and enterprise agreements.
• Provide guidance across onboarding, payroll, leave management, WHS, casual employment, staff benefits and superannuation.
• Manage Tier 1 HR enquiries and escalate non-standard or sensitive matters.
• Coordinate workflows, implement QA practices and improve service delivery and data integrity.
