The ideal candidate is compassionate, highly organised, and service-driven, with the ability to handle sensitive moments while maintaining professional standards. On-site role in Geelong with weekend on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in a service-focused environment or the ability to learn quickly.
• Current unrestricted driver’s licence.
• Comfortable working with death, grief, and deceased persons.
• Strong communication skills with a calm, empathetic approach.
• High attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Sensitivity and respect for diverse beliefs, values and cultural practices.
• Physically and psychologically fit to manage manual handling, stress and inherent role requirements.
• Willingness to participate in a 1 in 6 weekend on-call roster.

Responsibilities

• Meeting with families to arrange and coordinate funeral services in line with their wishes.
• Conducting and overseeing funeral services with professionalism and respect.
• Providing exceptional customer service to families, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Supporting day-to-day operations at the Geelong location.
• Ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Assisting with preparation, coordination and service delivery as required.
• Contributing to a collaborative and respectful team environment.
• Supporting health, safety and wellbeing standards in the workplace.
