Job summary

Sharp and Carter is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst within a high-performing Group FP&A team to deliver planning, modelling and commercial insights that influence Executive and Board decisions. This is a hands-on role requiring ownership and technical excellence.

Based in Sydney CBD with hybrid working, you will lead budgeting and forecasting, build robust financial models across P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, and partner with senior stakeholders to drive better business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be CA or CPA with Group FP&A/Corporate FP&A experience.
• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Strong Excel modelling and data analysis skills.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights for executives.

Responsibilities

• Leading budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities across the business.
• Developing and maintaining robust, scalable financial models across the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
• Producing Executive and Board-ready reporting with clear commentary, commercial insights and recommendations.
• Analysing financial performance to identify trends, risks, opportunities and key business drivers.
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to support strategic and operational decision making.
• Driving automation, process improvement and reporting efficiencies across the FP&A function.
• Maintaining strong governance, controls and data integrity across financial reporting.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of modelling standards, reporting quality and FP&A best practice.
