Job summary

Sharp & Carter is seeking a Finance Analyst in Australia, Queensland. This newly created role will drive budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis, partnered with senior leadership to influence pricing, costs and M&A initiatives.

You will transform financial data into insights and support strategic decisions across the business. The role offers broad exposure to commercial finance, business partnering, and a high-visibility position during an acquisitive growth period.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in budgeting and forecasting for multiple verticals.
• Strong financial modelling and performance analysis capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting across multiple verticals, and deliver variance analysis/commentary
• Developing and maintaining financial models
• Preparing management reports, dashboards and performance analysis
• Supporting business cases, scenario modelling and commercial decision-making
• Partnering with senior leaders to review financial performance and future outcomes
• Assisting with month-end reporting and financial close
• Supporting broader finance operations when required
• Contributing to process improvement, automation and finance projects across the business
