Job summary

Sharp & Carter is partnering with a large Australian organisation to recruit a Senior FP&A Analyst for their Group FP&A team in Sydney CBD. The role offers hybrid working and a compensation package up to AU$175,000 plus a 10% bonus.

You will own budgeting, forecasting and modelling, delivering executive‑level insights to influence Board decisions. The ideal candidate is CA/CPA qualified with extensive FP&A experience and strong Excel/Oracle EPM skills.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualified with Group FP&A or corporate FP&A experience.
• Hands-on with numbers and ownership of work.
• Ability to translate data into commercial insights for executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
• Develop and maintain scalable financial models for P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Produce Executive and Board-ready reporting with insights and recommendations.
• Analyze performance to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to support strategic decisions.
• Drive automation and process improvements in FP&A.
• Maintain governance and data integrity in financial reporting.
• Contribute to modelling standards and reporting quality.
