Job summary

NBN Co ltd. in Canberra is seeking a Senior Field Technician to join our field service team, delivering end-to-end service from installation to repair for homes and businesses.

You will work autonomously, using copper, fibre and fixed wireless capabilities, and you may hold an ACMA licence with a certificate in telecommunications. The role involves travel to customer sites and regular liaison with teammates to ensure service excellence.

Qualifications

• Autonomous and motivated self-starter with extensive experience with copper, fibre network assurance fault finding or fixed wireless/non-fixed line installs.
• Appetite to embrace a complex industry while learning and developing on the job.
• ACMA license preferably with a cert 3 or cert 4 in telecommunications.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end field service from installation to repair and maintenance.
• Deliver timely, high quality and brilliant customer service.
• Collaborate with supportive team, with coaching and career progression opportunities.
