Job summary

Unisys Australia is seeking a Senior Tech Field Engineer to join our team and deliver expert onsite support across diverse client environments. You will be hands-on, working with hardware, software, server and storage systems, and play a key role in ensuring peak performance and reliable service delivery.

In this role you will install, repair, and maintain equipment, troubleshoot complex issues, liaise with customers, document service activities, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Field Engineering or related roles.
• Experience with hardware maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and customer-facing support.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a technical team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Technical certification or Associate Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain hardware and software at client sites.
• Provide server and storage break-fix support and preventive maintenance.
• Manage onsite service activities from start to finish.
• Perform installations, upgrades, and system maintenance at customer environments.
• Use diagnostic tools to resolve complex issues.
