ISS is seeking a Senior Workplace Facilities Assistant to join our Workplace & Facilities team in Sydney. This highly visible, front-of-house role is responsible for creating a warm, professional and seamless experience for employees, clients and visitors while supporting the day-to-day coordination of our newly refurbished workplace.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years minimum experience in a professional environment.
• Organised, methodical and able to manage competing priorities.
• Professionally presented with excellent communication skills.
• Customer-focused and confident interacting with clients and staff.
• Comfortable with general IT systems and MS Office.
• Experience in event coordination or workplace support.
• Able to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoys contributing to workplace culture and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Reception & Customer Service: greet employees and visitors, manage calls and enquiries.
• Workplace Experience & Presentation: check meeting rooms, kitchens and common areas; keep spaces well presented.
• Office Operations: support daily operations and resolve issues.
• Meeting & Event Support: assist with room setups, tech, and event coordination.
• Team Support: assist Workplace/Facilities Coordinator and manager with tasks.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management: maintain professional communication with staff, clients and contractors.
• Safety & Compliance: follow safety procedures and report hazards.
• General Facilities Support: perform additional duties as directed.
