Job summary

WeWork is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager in Australia to oversee day-to-day operations of multiple buildings across Melbourne and Brisbane, with travel as required. You’ll manage cleaning, maintenance, energy and sustainability efforts, and coordinate with third-party vendors to deliver a best-in-class member experience.

The role focuses on cost control, safety, and continuous improvement, ensuring services meet agreed standards and budgets.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience operating workplaces with direct responsibility for facilities management, customer experience and/or building performance.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail; excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day facilities services across dedicated buildings, including maintenance, cleaning, supplies and utilities.
• Develop proactive maintenance schedules aligned with global standards to minimise disruptions.
• Manage vendor performance and SLAs to maximise value for money and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Oversee budgets, invoices, and financial targets; contribute to national facilities budgeting as required.
• Coordinate break-fix maintenance and drive timely, high-quality resolutions.
• Provide a trusted advisory role to internal stakeholders and lead cross-functional collaboration.
