Job summary

HIR Talent partners with an established commercial construction contractor to appoint a Senior Estimator to their Sydney team. The role offers the chance to own complex tenders and cost planning across a diverse project portfolio within a collaborative, supportive environment.

You will lead detailed tenders up to $50M+, develop tender strategies, price complex projects, build strong subcontractor relationships, identify risks, and prepare ECI and feasibility cost plans while mentoring junior

Qualifications

• 10+ years estimating experience in commercial construction.
• Proven track record with complex tenders up to $50M.
• Experience with cost planning for $50M+ projects.
• Background across commercial; hospitality, health, education, retail or similar sectors.
• Strong commercial judgment and understanding of construction costs.
• Proficient in Cubit / Cubit Select or similar estimating software.

About You

• Experience with cost planning for $50M+ projects
• Background across commercial; hospitality, health, education, retail or similar sectors
• Strong commercial judgement and understanding of construction costs
• Proficient in Cubit / Cubit Select or similar estimating software
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or similar
