Job summary

CGC Recruitment is seeking a Senior Estimator to join a growing builder operating across the East Coast of Australia. They deliver a diverse portfolio of commercial projects ranging from $5M to $50M, requiring strong price planning and pre-construction input.

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you'll price and secure projects while contributing to the growth of the commercial function and positioning yourself for future leadership opportunities as the business expands.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, structures, procurement and cost planning.
• Proven estimating experience with a head contractor across new build and heavy refurbishment projects (commercial highly desired).
• Commercially astute with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Team-oriented and looking to contribute to a positive office culture.

Responsibilities

• Price and secure projects within pre-construction.
• Work closely with Estimating Manager to developWinning bids and grow the commercial function.
• Contribute to future leadership opportunities as the business expands.

Education

Our client is seeking an astute Senior Estimator who wants to join a business entering an exciting phase of growth. This builder operates across the East Coast of Australia, delivering a diverse portfolio of new-build, heavy refurbishment, and fit-out projects ranging from $5M to $50M in the commercial sector.

With a strong client base and partnerships with some of Australia's leading brands, they have continued to secure work and recently strengthened their leadership team in preparation for a busy period ahead.

Reporting directly to an experienced Estimating Manager, you'll play a key role within the pre-construction team, helping to price and secure projects while contributing to the future growth of the commercial function. This is an opportunity to showcase your technical and commercial capabilities while positioning yourself for future leadership opportunities as the business continues to expand.

About You

• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar
• 10+ years' experience within the construction industry
• Proven estimating experience with a head contractor across new build and heavy refurbishment projects (commercial highly desired)

• Commercially astute with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Team-oriented and looking to contribute to a positive office culture
