Job summary

Core Talent is recruiting on behalf of a leading commercial fit out and refurbishment contractor for a Senior Estimator in Sydney. You will own the estimating process from enquiry to tender, coordinating with clients, consultants and subcontractors to deliver competitive bids.

You will price projects from $1M to $75M+, using CostX/Bluebeam and delivering accurate take-offs, with a focus on value engineering and risk management. This is a high-impact role with long-term career progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Estimator within commercial fit out or refurbishment.
• Strong experience pricing projects across the $1M-$50M+ range.
• Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Strong relationships with subcontractors and consultants within the Sydney market.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating process from initial enquiry through to tender submission
• Prepare detailed cost plans, BOQs and accurate take-offs
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation

Core Talent is working on behalf of a leading commercial fit out and refurbishment contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Estimator.

The Opportunity

You'll play a key role within a high-performing pre-construction team, taking ownership of the estimating process from enquiry through to tender submission while building strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
