HIR Talent Pty is partnering with a leading commercial construction contractor to appoint a Senior Estimator to their Sydney team. You will own complex tenders and cost plans across a diverse portfolio, driving commercial outcomes and value for clients.

In this role you will lead detailed tenders up to $50M+, develop strategies, price multi-stage and live projects, manage subcontractor relationships and mentor junior estimators.

Competenze

• 10+ years estimating experience.
• Experience with complex tenders up to $50M.
• Qualifications in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced estimator to join a collaborative and supportive team and take ownership of complex tenders and cost planning across a diverse project portfolio.

The Opportunity

• Lead detailed tenders and cost plans for projects up to $50M+
• Develop tender strategies with a strong commercial focus
• Price complex, staged and live-environment projects
• Build and maintain strong subcontractor relationships
• Identify project risks and ensure accurate, competitive pricing
• Prepare ECI and feasibility-stage cost plans
• Mentor and support junior estimating team members

About You

• 10+ years' estimating experience
• Proven experience with complex tenders up to $50M
• Experience with cost planning for $50M+ projects
• Background across commercial; hospitality, health, education, retail or similar sectors
• Strong commercial judgement and understanding of construction costs
• Proficient in Cubit / Cubit Select or similar estimating software
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or similar
