Job summary

HIR Talent Pty is partnering with a leading commercial construction contractor to appoint a Senior Estimator to their Sydney team. You will own complex tenders and cost plans across a diverse portfolio, driving commercial outcomes and value for clients.

In this role you will lead detailed tenders up to $50M+, develop strategies, price multi-stage and live projects, manage subcontractor relationships and mentor junior estimators.

Qualifications

• 10+ years estimating experience.
• Experience with complex tenders up to $50M.
• Qualifications in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed tenders and cost plans for projects up to $50M+.
• Develop tender strategies with a strong commercial focus.
• Price complex, staged and live-environment projects.
• Build and maintain strong subcontractor relationships.
• Identify project risks and ensure accurate pricing.
• Prepare ECI and feasibility-stage cost plans.
• Mentor and support junior estimating team members.
