Job summary

Morson Edge Australia is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our leading national fitout and construction team in New South Wales. You will manage tenders end-to-end, review drawings, and drive cost plans from scope to submission.

Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in fitout/refurbishment and large commercial projects, with CostX or Cubit proficiency. This role offers exposure to high-profile bids and a strong project pipeline.

Qualifications

• Senior estimating experience with a reputable head contractor.
• Experience in fitout, refurbishment and/or commercial construction.
• Experience estimating large-scale, complex commercial projects.
• Qualification in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.

Responsibilities

• Manage estimates and tenders from initial review through to submission.
• Prepare detailed BOQs, cost plans, scopes and tender documentation.
• Review drawings and identify tender risks and opportunities.
• Obtain and negotiate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Develop competitive pricing and value engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with pre-construction and delivery teams on major bids.

Senior or strong intermediate Estimator to join leading commercial fitout, refurbishment & newbuild business.

Duties

• Manage estimates and tenders from initial review through to submission

Skills & Experience

• Senior estimating experience with a reputable head contractor
• Fitout, refurbishment and/or commercial construction experience
• Experience estimating complex, large-scale commercial projects
• Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related qualification
• Proficiency in CostX, Cubit or similar estimating software
