Job summary

University of New South Wales is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator for the Student Placement system. The role supports enterprise systems, oversees the service desk, and coordinates data migration, reporting, and compliance activities within the Experience & Employability portfolio.

You will configure systems, translate business requirements into solutions, monitor integrations, and collaborate with UNSW IT and vendors.

Qualifications

Experience supporting enterprise systems and user support.
Ability to analyse and resolve system issues within established frameworks.
Experience coordinating service desk activities and managing priorities.

Responsibilities

Oversee service desk operations, triage and assign issues, resolve where possible.
Provide SME for Employability systems and support stakeholders in best practice.
Undertake system configuration, new course setup and translate requirements into solutions.
Perform data migration activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Support compliance activities and provide data for reporting obligations.
Develop and generate reports and manipulate data for reporting.
Review system updates and communicate changes to stakeholders.
Monitor integrations and coordinate issue resolution with UNSW IT and vendors.
Contribute to process improvements and maintain system documentation.
Build strong stakeholder relationships and deliver high-quality service.
