Job summary

UNSW is seeking a Lead Integration Engineer to drive the design, delivery, and operation of enterprise-class integration services within the Student Sub-Domain. You will lead data architecture, integration standards, and security across on-premises and cloud environments, including PeopleSoft and SaaS platforms, with a focus on scalable student data exchange.

You will mentor teams, influence enterprise roadmaps, and collaborate with stakeholders across UNSW IT.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology (or equivalent).
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale integration services in large organisations.
• Experience integrating ERP and CRM with cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Student Information Systems or similar.
• Ability to lead complex technical initiatives with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-level leadership for data and integration architecture for the Student Sub-Domain.
• Govern data and integration standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Lead the design and delivery of complex, mission-critical integration solutions.
• Ensure performance, scalability, availability, and security of integrations.
• Mentor staff and coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Develop runbooks, roadmaps, and documentation for integrations.
• Drive architectural decisions aligned with UNSW technology strategy.
