Job summary

UpGuard is launching a brand-new Professional Services function and is hiring a Day 1 foundational specialist to help write the playbook. You will lead complex enterprise deployments end-to-end, collaborating with leadership to build SOPs and scalable delivery methods that fuse security, IT operations and governance.

You will guide client projects from kickoff through UAT to a successful handoff to Customer Success, partnering with Sales and Product to feed field insights into the roadmap.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a B2B SaaS implementation, solutions architecture, or professional services role; experience with large-scale organizations (5,000+ employees) required; GRC desirable.
• Builder mindset: thrives in evolving playbooks.
• Experience with PSA tools (Rocketlane, Certinia, Productive, etc).
• Consultative authority: engaging executive stakeholders and guiding customers to best practices.
• Proven ability to manage complex deployments and deliver value within standardized service packages.

Responsibilities

• Design and document repeatable implementation methodologies, project plans, and SOPs.
• Own complex deployments end-to-end; manage client expectations and prevent scope creep; lead UAT to transition to Customer Success.
• Develop deep expertise in UpGuard's capabilities; design and troubleshoot complex integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party systems.
• Translate ambiguous client needs into actionable technical specifications; redesign vendor risk workflows to leverage UpGuard automation.
• Build trust with IT/SecOps and executives; align PS with Sales and Product to feed field insights into the roadmap.
