Job summary

UpGuard is seeking a Director of Global Solutions Engineering to steer the technical engine of our revenue team. You will lead a global, multi‑discipline group of Sales Engineers and Solutions Consultants across regions, owning both pre‑sale technical wins and post‑sale escalation paths.

This role reports to the CRO and requires hands‑on leadership in fast‑moving enterprise deals. You’ll balance strategic conversations with executives and deep technical dives, shaping RFP responses, security

Qualifications

Proven track record of building and leading a world-class Solutions/Sales Engineering team.
Experience selling and supporting a technically complex product to technical buyers.
Proven ability to manage managers across global teams and time zones.
Hands-on in high-stakes customer engagements and technical governance.

Responsibilities

Lead a global, multi-layered team of Sales Engineers and Solutions Consultants across regions.
Own the technical win in pre-sales with world-class demos and proofs of concept.
Own post-sales technical escalation path and drive cross-sell with CS teams.
Partner with Enablement to design technical training, demos, and playbooks.
Be the voice of the customer to Product and influence the roadmap.
