Job summary

OutSystems Australia seeks a seasoned Senior Technical Architect to own project execution and drive the solution's functional and technical vision from ideation to production.

You will design scalable architectures based on business needs, be the senior technical player, and mentor teams across customers and partners while collaborating with engagement and solution delivery leaders to align requirements and strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
• 5 years of software development experience.
• 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience in web or mobile application development, project delivery practices, solution design, architecture patterns, and application performance.

Responsibilities

• Own the project execution, driving the functional and technical vision of the solution from ideation to production.
• Design, size, and build innovative and enterprise-scalable solution architectures based on business needs and drivers.
• Be the senior technical player on the team, participate hands-on in development activities, and be responsible for the overall technical quality of the solution.
• Mentor the team of OutSystems’, customers’, and partners’ resources on architecture and development best practices.
• Influence the direction of the solution based on expertise in OutSystems and other technologies.
• Align with the customer to ensure all impediments and dependencies are resolved.
• Work closely with Engagement Managers, Solution Delivery Managers, and the customer organization to understand business requirements and strategic vision.
• Grow the technical ability of the professional services team through contributions to technical practices, e.g., documentation, sample applications, blog posts, and speaker events.
