Couchbase, the operational data platform for AI, is seeking a Strategic Account Representative for ANZ, based in Sydney. You will drive growth with large, technology-led enterprises, building executive relationships and translating capabilities into outcomes that matter to CIOs and business leaders.

As a senior, individual-contributor role, you will manage complex cycles, nurture opportunities from discovery to close, and collaborate with teams across cloud, data, AI, and application platforms

Qualifications

• Navigate complex enterprise sales cycles with CIO/CTO/CDO stakeholders.
• Build compelling business cases and articulate measurable outcomes.
• Sell cloud, data, AI, database or application‑platform tech into engineering‑led teams.

Responsibilities

• Close business to meet quarterly and annual bookings objectives.
• Acquire net new logos and expand existing accounts.
• Uncover opportunities and develop a strong sales pipeline.
• Maintain pipeline in SFDC and track interactions with prospects and customers.
• Lead presentations of Couchbase and product lines to potential customers.
• Build and strengthen relationships to unlock growth opportunities.
• Manage opportunities and forecasts for accurate revenue visibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for webinars, trade shows and events.
