AEMO is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead investigations into power system security challenges and to develop practical solutions for the National Electricity Market. The role offers technical leadership across strategic projects and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to shape Australia’s energy transition.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, mentoring engineers and contributing to the evolution of power system design principles for a more sustainable energy future.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power systems or related discipline.
• Experience with the National Electricity Market (NEM) preferred.
• Experience in power system analysis, modelling, planning or operations in the electricity industry.

• Collaborate on technical studies and investigations into emerging power system security and stability challenges.
• Perform and review advanced power system modelling and simulation studies.
