UON is expanding in Queensland and seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to identify and secure new opportunities across mining, resources, infrastructure, renewables and industrial sectors.

The role focuses on strategic customer acquisition, major project growth, and developing UON's market presence. Requires 5+ years in business development or sales, a driving licence, and a bachelor's degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development, sales, or account management within industrial, energy, mining, infrastructure, or related sectors.
• Geographic area of operation experience is required.
• Full, unrestricted manual driving licence is essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business, or a related field is desirable.
• Experience selling renewable energy and battery storage, load bank systems, off-grid power solutions, dewatering and pumping systems.

Responsabilités

• Face-to-face and remote sales to new customers and cross/up/repeat sales to existing customers.
• Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services, and/or solutions.
• Developing and delivering sales bids/proposals/presentations.
• Developing medium to long-term sales plans and strategies to protect, grow and diversify relationships with targeted customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, pre-contracts, operations, marketing) to ensure high-quality bids meet client requirements.
