Job summary

Enemix is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead commercial advisory engagements in Australia’s energy markets. You will advise on offtake strategies for solar, wind and BESS assets, structure PPAs, and support negotiations with developers, corporates and funds.

You will deliver techno-commercial due diligence, build robust financial models, and share market insights on NEM dynamics, REC/LGC markets, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in electricity markets across advisory, origination, trading or wholesale transactions.
• Proven ability to structure or advise on PPAs, offtake agreements, or wholesale energy contracts.
• Strong knowledge of NEM structure, AEMO market operations, and regulatory framework.
• Strong financial modelling skills for transaction analysis and project valuation.
• Familiarity with REC and LGC markets and related compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial advisory engagements end to end, from scoping to client sign-off.
• Advise on offtake and route-to-market strategy for solar, wind, and BESS assets, including PPAs and hedging.
• Structure and support negotiation of PPAs and wholesale energy contracts.
• Build and review commercial and transaction models for investment decisions and financing.
• Provide market insights on NEM dynamics, price outlooks, and regulatory changes.
• Mentor junior consultants and help shape advisory methodologies.
