Job summary

Enemix is building a dedicated Australian platform to own the full performance of a growing solar, BESS and hybrid portfolio across Australia and New Zealand. The Head of Energy Markets & Operations will establish operating capability from day one and report to the CEO and Executive team, guiding revenue, availability and cost outcomes.

The role combines technical asset management with active market optimisation, including bidding, dispatch and BESS trading strategy, in a lean, entrepreneurial

Qualifications

• Experience in technical asset management of energy assets (solar, batteries, hybrids).
• Strong knowledge of NEM dispatch, settlement and FCAS is preferred.
• Proven ability to build/direct analytics models and tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management in lean, fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational and commercial performance of the portfolio across availability, revenue and cost.
• Lead NEM dispatch, bidding and BESS optimisation strategy.
• Manage O&M contractors and performance guarantees, outages and fault resolution.
• Build data analytics tools guiding trading and operating decisions.
• Set up scalable operating processes for first assets and future acquisitions.
