Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in energy markets, strategy, planning or modelling.
• Strong understanding of Australia's energy markets, regulatory frameworks and network planning.
• Proven experience leading projects and technical teams.
• Sharp analytical mindset; translate complex market and technical data into clear strategic insight.
• Excellent communication skills; influence clients and stakeholders at all levels.
• Commercial acumen; defend decisions across all aspects of project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex energy market analysis, strategic planning and power system modelling engagements across the NEM and WEM.
• Provide authoritative guidance on market modelling, regulatory frameworks and network planning methodologies.
• Shape technical and strategic direction on major projects, influencing engagement outcomes and wider business objectives.
• Act as a senior technical voice to clients, partners and industry stakeholders on market and regulatory matters.
• Develop and review methodologies for proposals and scopes of work, ensuring effort estimates are robust and matched to engagement complexity.
• Mentor and provide technical direction to team members, building market analysis and modelling capability across the team.
