Job summary

Enemix, a leading Australian independent power producer, is seeking a Senior Investment Manager to lead investment analysis across development and construction portfolios. You will shape funding, returns and prioritisation, liaising with capital markets, development, delivery and finance teams, and presenting to executive leadership and the investment committee.

With 6 to 10 years’ experience in energy or infrastructure, you will demonstrate advanced financial modelling, a track record of closed

Qualifications

6–10 years in IPP, infrastructure fund, investment bank or advisory
Track record of closed energy/infrastructure transactions
Advanced financial modelling and project finance knowledge
Exposure to wind, solar or battery storage, ideally across the NEM
Clear, confident communication with senior stakeholders
Tertiary qualifications in finance, commerce, economics or engineering; CFA or CA advantageous

Responsibilities

Lead investment cases for development and construction projects through to FID
Own and review project and portfolio financial models, including assumptions on revenue, capex, opex and financing
Support project financings, refinancings and lender processes
Lead or support acquisitions, selldowns and partnership opportunities
Prepare and present investment committee papers and board materials
Assess new opportunities across generation, storage and hybrid projects
Manage external advisers across financial, legal, technical and market workstreams
Mentor and develop analysts and associates
