Job summary

GE Vernova Onshore Wind Projects – Melbourne VIC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to ensure technical integrity of EPC wind farm projects. You will lead eBoP design reviews, align with schedule and budget, and support tender and construction phases from Melbourne with occasional site travel.

The role requires tertiary electrical engineering qualifications, substantial renewables design experience, and knowledge of HV systems, protection, SCADA and MV collectors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in utility-scale renewables or transmission design.
• Knowledge of high voltage systems and substations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and troubleshooting for wind farm eBoP.
• Develop work plans for maintenance with services team.
• Support bid team by baseline eBoP design during initiation.
• Contribute to constructability reviews during planning and construction.
• Interpret specs to prepare design packages for subcontractors.
• Review EPC/BoP bids for compliance and risk.
