Job summary

Quickway is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design across water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Sydney and NSW. You will oversee EICA, coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, and subcontractors, and guide commissioning and handover.

With 8–10 years' experience in large-scale infra, you will mentor teams, ensure safety and quality, and drive value through innovative approaches while delivering major NSW projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 8–10 years' experience in water, wastewater or complex infrastructure.
• Experience with pumping stations, high/low voltage, SCADA and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate electrical and EICA activities across project portfolios.
• Manage electrical scope delivery from concept through commissioning.
• Review designs for compliance, constructability and operability.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Procure switchboards, MCCs, VSDs, transformers, instrumentation and control systems.
• Oversee electrical subcontractors during installation and commissioning.
• Lead FAT, SAT, commissioning and handover activities.
• Support PLC/SCADA and telemetry integration.
