Job summary

Quickway is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical, instrumentation, control and EICA systems across water and wastewater projects in Sydney and NSW. You will guide design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning with project teams and stakeholders.

The role offers opportunities to work in a self-performing Design & Construct environment on major water infrastructure, with a focus on safety, quality and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree required.
• 8–10 years delivering complex infrastructure projects.
• Experience with water and wastewater pumping stations and HV/LV infra.
• Experience managing electrical design consultants and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical and EICA activities across project portfolios.
• Manage scope delivery from concept to commissioning.
• Review designs for compliance, constructability and operability.
• Coordinate with clients, design consultants, utility providers and subcontractors.
• Oversee procurement of switchboards, MCCs, VSDs and instrumentation.
• Lead FAT, SAT, commissioning and handover activities.
• Provide mentoring and leadership to project teams.
• Support tender development and value engineering.
