Qualifications

• Ideally 12+ years’ experience in Electrical Engineering, gained within a Building Services consultancy, senior contracting role, or government department.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of sophisticated electrical engineering solutions across health, defence, transport, data centres, sports facilities, and other complex building projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Act as the senior technical authority on major projects, providing expert review, guidance, and oversight of electrical design, installation strategies, and system integration.
• Oversee multiple electrical projects concurrently, balancing technical rigor, programme delivery, and client expectations to achieve successful outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with multi‑disciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into broader building services, offering technical insight on lighting, power distribution, fire and life safety, and low‑voltage systems.
• Mentor and support junior and mid‑level engineers, fostering technical excellence, innovative thinking, and professional development across the team.
