Job summary

AECOM in Sydney is seeking a Project / Design Leader in Building Engineering to drive complex, multidisciplinary projects from concept through delivery and to manage scope, interfaces and design reviews with senior stakeholders.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, work with clients and project directors, and contribute to business growth while maintaining high-quality outcomes across major projects in our Building Engineering portfolio.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Building Engineering leadership or similar.
• Engineering degree with Chartered status.
• Experience across design management and project management.
• Commercial and contract management experience.
• Strong client and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multidisciplinary Building Engineering projects from inception to delivery.
• Collaborate with clients, technical leaders and teams to define scope and risks.
• Own design management, interfaces and design reviews to meet client objectives.
• Oversee programme, budget, resourcing and governance across projects.
• Foster client relationships and pursue new opportunities for growth.
