Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning is seeking a Senior Educator-Educational Leader in Mackay to drive high-quality educational programs. You will collaborate with Educators to observe, review and lift practice, guiding EYLF implementation and working with the centre leadership to foster excellence.

You will lead change, mentor staff, and advocate for children’s development while aligning with the National Quality Standards and local centre goals.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
• Current QLD Working with Children Check

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent 38hrs / Week

Pay: $41.74 - $43 p/h (depending on qualification & experience) + $2.68 Educational Leader Allowance + Super

As an Educational Leader at Goodstart, you'll collaborate with Educators in your centre to observe, review, and continuously enhance the educational programs offered to children. You'll deepen the team's understanding of child development and early years content, guiding the application of the Early Years Learning Framework. Working closely with the centre leadership team, you'll lead transformative changes and champion excellence in educational practice.

• Centrally located and handy to City, Schools, Base Hospital and Airport - a hop skip and jump
• Twin building 105 place centre accomodating children from 6 weeks to 5 years
