Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Senior E&I Project Engineer to join our Engineering Construction division, supporting the delivery of a major mining and minerals project in Western Australia. The role is based in Perth initially, with a transition to site on a 2:1 FIFO roster as the project progresses.

You’ll lead E&I work pack development and plan execution, coordinating labour, equipment and materials while guiding project teams and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required with relevant discipline.
• Senior Project Engineer experience in mining, minerals or infrastructure.
• Experience delivering E&I scopes on large construction projects.
• FIFO roster experience or willingness to work a 2:1 roster.
• Knowledge of Australian standards and AS/NZS ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of E&I work packs and oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of project scopes.
• Coordinate labour, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient and compliant project delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to supervisors and project teams.
• Monitor construction progress, track milestones, and ensure alignment with project schedules.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies across E&I activities.
• Promote and enforce strong safety culture and HSE compliance.
• Ensure works meet QA procedures and client specifications.
• Manage subcontractors and support commercial aspects including cost control and change management.
• Support commissioning and handover activities as required.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
