Job summary

Maylands Hotel in Adelaide's eastern suburbs is seeking a Duty Manager to join our leadership team. This hands-on role leads shifts across bar, gaming, and floor operations, while supporting the Venue Manager and department heads.

You will deliver exceptional customer experiences, coach the team, ensure compliance with gaming and liquor licensing, and manage service flow, cash handling, and venue reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Duty Manager or senior hospitality role.
• Strong operations knowledge and high customer service standards.
• RSA & RP Badge required; RSG 1 certificate essential; other RSG levels highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across bar, gaming, and floor operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and set on-shift tone.
• Ensure compliance with gaming, liquor licensing, and venue procedures.
• Coach, support, and develop team members.
• Manage service flow, priorities, and real-time problem solving.
• Handle cash, reconciliations, and venue reporting.
• Maintain presentation, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Support the Venue Manager and department heads daily.
