Job summary

The Southern Bar, Gaming & Bistro is seeking a casual Duty Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, lead and support staff, and ensure responsible service and gaming compliance while delivering friendly customer service to our local community.

This role is based in South Australia, with a focus on creating a welcoming environment for locals and supporting community activities at a not-for-profit venue run by Squash SA.

Qualifications

• Current South Australian Responsible Person (RP) badge.
• Up-to-date South Australian gaming training requirements.
• Previous hospitality, gaming or supervisory/duty management experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and confidently manage a venue.
• Availability across a 7-day roster.
• Genuine interest in working within a local community environment.
• Duty Manager or supervisory experience (desirable).
• Experience working in a gaming venue (desirable).
