Canva is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for DevX to own critical infrastructure used by thousands of engineers. You’ll develop and maintain CI/CD systems, release automation, and improved developer workflows across environments and tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Platform Engineering with Python/Go experience.
• Experience operating systems at scale.
• Experience with AWS or GCP in production.
• Kubernetes in production environments.
• CI/CD pipelines at scale (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Buildkite).
• Monorepo/build tooling with Bazel/Gradle.
• Observability with monitoring/logging/alerts.

Responsibilities

• Own critical DevX infrastructure used by Canva engineers.
• Build and maintain CI/CD systems, test infra, and release automation.
• Improve developer workflows including environments, IDE integrations, and build performance.
