Job summary

Canva seeks a Senior Software Engineer in DevX to own infrastructure that accelerates all Canva engineers. You will contribute across automation pipelines, developer workflows, and build tooling, focusing on reducing friction and improving developer experience.

The role emphasizes scale, reliability, and collaboration across large engineering teams, with a hybrid Sydney-based setup that supports remote work and on-campus collaboration when needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Platform Engineering or similar role.
• Strong programming background in Python and Go, with cloud experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes in production.

Responsibilities

• Own critical DevX infrastructure that impacts all Canva engineers.
• Work across Automation Pipeline, Developer Workflows, and Build & Collaboration domains.
• Build and optimise CI/CD, release automation, and developer environments.
