Job summary

Greenstone is building a Platform Engineering function to accelerate agile, AI-assisted engineering and modernize our technology. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will enable stream-aligned teams by defining golden paths, building automated infrastructure, and strengthening developer experience.

You will drive AWS landing zones, IaC modules, automated pipelines, and policy as code, while mentoring engineers and challenging weak designs to remove manual 'click-ops' bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Delivery-focused, with a practical, hands-on approach.
• Proven transformation experience as a Senior DevOps or Platform Engineer.
• AWS enterprise landing zones, IaC modules, and automated pipelines expertise.
• Experience building compliant, automated platforms for regulated workloads.

Responsibilities

• Define and validate enterprise landing zone capabilities using AWS patterns.
• Translate architecture decisions into IaC modules, pipelines and runbooks.
• Implement pre- and post-deployment assurance controls and compliance evidence (Policy as Code).
• Challenge weak designs and manual operating models using evidence-based reasoning.
• Lead solution designs and mentor team members through hands-on leadership.
