Job summary

Nuage is seeking a seasoned Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to lead modern Cloud, DevOps, Platform Engineering and Generative AI projects from a hands-on perspective. You’ll drive AWS architecture, automation, and scalable infrastructure across Australia.

The role focuses on Terraform, Kubernetes (EKS), Landing Zones, cloud migrations, and serverless patterns, with exposure to AWS Bedrock; a strong software engineering foundation is essential.

Qualifications

• AWS – deep hands-on engineering experience.
• Terraform – strong Infrastructure as Code capability.
• Kubernetes / EKS – hands-on experience.
• AWS Landing Zones / multi-account environments.
• Cloud migrations and modernisation.
• CI/CD and end-to-end automation.
• Containers and serverless AWS services.
• AWS Bedrock – recent commercial experience desirable.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS architectures across modern cloud environments.
• Build and maintain Landing Zones and multi-account layouts.
• Lead cloud migration and modernisation initiatives.
• Develop IaC with Terraform and modular patterns.
• Engineer CI/CD pipelines and end-to-end automation.
• Support platform engineering and developer enablement.
• Ensure security, governance and networking best practices in AWS.
