Job summary
Schneider Electric seeks an experienced System Architect – Electrical to be the technical authority for data centre power distribution and UPS solutions across strategic accounts in the Pacific region. You will influence critical design decisions and shape technical standards while engaging with consultants and end users.
You will lead end-to-end electrical infrastructure design, mentor engineers, and drive opportunities with enterprise customers, hyperscalers, and data centre operators,
Qualifications
- Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering, with professional registration preferred.
- 8–14 years in electrical engineering or solution architecture, with data centre exposure.
- Expertise in MV/LV distribution, UPS, redundancy, and critical power systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect end-to-end electrical infrastructure for data centres from utility to rack level.
- Develop power architectures with MV/LV distribution, switchgear, transformers, UPS, monitoring, and redundancy.
- Advise customers on electrical system design and resiliency strategies.
- Influence specifications and standards with consultants, EPCs, and end users.
- Lead technical discussions and defend design decisions at engineer-to-engineer level.
- Partner with account teams to identify and win strategic data centre projects.
- Deliver technical workshops, design reviews, and solution presentations.
- Collaborate with mechanical, digital, and solution architecture teams.
