Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Power Systems Consultant to lead the adoption of next-generation data centre power architectures, including HVDC and solid-state systems. The role focuses on early market engagement, shaping design philosophies, and aligning Eaton’s portfolio with emerging technologies.

You will influence product strategy, educate key customers, and collaborate with global R&D to support ANZ market growth.

Qualifications

• Experience with power system modelling, grid integration, or power electronics.
• Exposure to HVDC, BESS integration, or solid-state systems.
• Knowledge of HVDC systems and next-generation distribution architectures.

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert in data centre power technologies including HVDC, MVSST, and hybrid AC/DC systems.
• Translate technology trends into actionable insights for product and strategy teams.
• Educate the market through technical sessions and industry content.
• Engage with consultants, developers, and customers to shape requirements.
