Job summary

Alliance Automation invites a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our Mackay team. You will lead design, development, and commissioning of advanced control solutions for large-scale projects, while maintaining client relationships and ensuring safety and quality standards.

You should bring at least five years’ experience in heavy industry control systems, strong communication skills, and a current Australian driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience in control systems engineering within heavy industry or similar environments.
• Strong client engagement skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Proven experience with control systems, automation platforms, and industrial communication networks.
• A current Australian driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with clients to define project requirements and develop clear scopes of work
• Lead the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of advanced control system solutions
• Ensure all project deliverables meet high standards of quality, safety, and timeliness
• Provide expert-level technical support and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
