Alliance Automation is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to contribute to innovative engineering projects in Australian industry. The role emphasizes design, implementation and testing of control systems across DCS, SCADA, PLCs and industrial networks, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in control systems engineering.
• Experience with DCS, SCADA, PLCs, RTUs and industrial networks.
• Bachelor-level engineering or related field; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, implementation, and testing of control system solutions across DCS/SCADA/PLCs/RTUs and industrial networks.
• Assist in preparing project documentation including specifications, drawings, and test procedures.
• Ensure tasks meet project schedules and high quality standards.
• Provide ongoing technical support to clients for long-term system reliability.
• Promote health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ) practices.

The Opportunity

We are currently inviting applications from skilled and motivated Control Systems Engineers to join our growing team. This role is ideal for professionals with 2-3 years of relevant experience who are eager to contribute to innovative engineering projects within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design, implementation, and testing of high-quality control system solutions across technologies such as DCS, SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, and industrial networks
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation including specifications, drawings, and test procedures
• Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard and in alignment with project schedules
• Provide ongoing technical support to clients, contributing to long-term system reliability
• Actively promote and support a strong culture of health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ)

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Solid understanding of engineering principles and control system fundamentals
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in hardware and software development for industrial applications
• Familiarity with development environments such as .NET Framework, VB.NET, and Visual Studio
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
